Virginia Route 670 scene of fatal accident

Virginia roadways can be dangerous when a driver is breaking any law and this is especially true when a driver is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. A recent fatal accident on a Virginia roadway is a good example of how dangerous the roadways can be in such a case. The accident happened on Route 670 at 4:30 p.m. and there were charges included in this investigation.

This accident happened when the 51-year-old male driver of a pick-up truck that was traveling eastbound crossed the center line and hit a car head on. The car was traveling west on Route 670 at the time of the accident. The 58-year-old male driver of the car, who was wearing a seat belt, died at the scene of the accident.

The driver of the pick-up truck was transported to a local hospital for what was reported to be serious injuries. The 51-year-old driver was also charged with DUI. The accident is still under investigation by the Virginia State Police.

Accidents such as this can be devastating to families who are left behind. These loved ones may not understand exactly what happened or why they lost a family member to a fatal accident. However, they may look to find a way to seek retribution for their losses that could include loss of wages, the prevalence of final expenses, and pain and suffering brought on by their loss. Virginia residents who have suffered a loss due to a fatal accident may want to consult an attorney who can assist in filing a claim in civil court to seek financial retribution.
